Position Details

Position Overview
The IDD Manager is responsible and accountable for the planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating ODP services for the branch and / or MPI. The IDD Manager is responsible for the program oversight within the branch location and / or MPI they support.  The IDD Manager will work within the federal, state, and regional regulations covering ODP and collaborate closely within the branch.

Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate with the multi-disciplinary team on the implementation of health and safety programs for individuals receiving ID services
- The IDD Manager leads the team to ensure that each individual is fully supported in his/her everyday life.
- Maintains program compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintains employee orientation and training program
- Conducts Aveanna Specific Training with support staff and or branch staff.
- Ensures timely incident reporting and implementation of corrective action.
- Works closely with Certified Investigators and provides training as needed
- Supports onsite monitoring.
- Point person for Administrative Entities and SCO’s
- Participates in the development of the Individual Support Plan
- Maintain effective communication between staff, supports coordinators, and Individual/family
- Ensures team is completing daily, monthly and quarterly documentation per regulations

Requirements
- A master’s degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1 year of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.
- Or a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.
- Or an associate degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 4 years of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.
- Other education, experience, training, licensure, or certification per state requirements or as required by applicable regulations.
- Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadline
- Criminal Background check completed and results within parameters of Aveanna Policy.
- Receptive to frequent travel within assigned area.

Physical Demands

Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions
