Aveanna Healthcare is hiring compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) to provide skilled nursing care to medically complex infants, toddlers, and young children in our Pediatric Day Healthcare Center.  All hours Monday – Friday.  No weekends, nights or holidays! Previous pediatric experience is required. If you are passionate about kids, this is an outstanding opportunity to develop specialized skills and gain nursing experience in a fun pediatric setting. 

COVID-19 Precautions: 
Aveanna Healthcare has instituted strict COVID-19 protocols in addition to CDC recommendations to provide a safe and healthy environment for our employees and high-risk pediatric patients. All employees are encouraged to be vaccinated.

Qualifications for RN Position: 

• Active LA Nursing License 
• At least one year of pediatric nursing experience is required  
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification (can be obtained during orientation) 

RN Position Details: 

• Provide skilled nursing care to children ages birth to 8 years old in a developmentally appropriate center-based setting 
• Follow physician orders for plan of care and provide documentation of care delivered 
• Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies 
• Participate as a vital member of our multidisciplinary team
