Position Details

Position Overview
Under direct supervision of the Sr. Director, IT Operations and Logistics, responsible for overseeing and managing all network, voice (VoIP) and collaboration infrastructure systems administration including design, installation, configuration, deployment, maintenance, training and troubleshooting while optimizing system performance and maintaining security standards. Facilitates and makes independent decisions concerning technology deployment(s) while adhering to internal processes and regulatory guidelines. 

Key Results Expected (Essential Job Duties):
Team Leadership:Supervisory control of direct report employees, contract employees and partner vendor representatives.
Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.
Collaborate with other IT teams to achieve overall organizational goals.
Evaluation of Aveanna IT adherence to all federal and state(s) regulations.
Operating within agreed upon budgets with all business lines and remote locations.


Network Infrastructure Management:Design, implement, manage and troubleshoot the organization's network infrastructure.
Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of the network.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.


Voice Communication Systems:Manage and maintain the organization's voice communication systems, including Contact Center Solutions (CCaaS) and VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) technologies (UCaaS).
Implement and support voice-related hardware and software.
 

Collaboration Systems:Design, implement, manage and troubleshoot collaboration and A/V systems for conference rooms to specified standards.


Security and Compliance:Implement security measures to protect the network and voice systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.


Upgrades and Enhancements:Plan and execute upgrades and enhancements to the network and voice systems.
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.


Documentation:Maintain accurate documentation for network, voice and collaboration configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.


Work closely with senior management to align network and voice strategies with overall business objectives.
Maintains good communication with other IT team members, business lines and remote locations and maintains a positive and professional work environment.
Work with team members to create innovative solutions to technical problems.
Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
Performs other duties as required.

Minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required plus ten years as a full-time, hands- on, technologist and project management.
Knowledge of relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and software.
Experience with VoIP technologies and voice communication systems.
Knowledge of audio/visual collaboration systems.
Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
Ability to manage and escalate 3rd party telecommunications vendors
Knowledge of computer hardware and software and telecommunication systems.

Physical requirements:
Must be able to perform movements that regularly require repetitive use of the wrist(s), hand(s) and or finger(s) approximately 80-90% of the workday
Finger dexterity to perform typing, picking up small objects, etc. approximately 80-90% of workday.
Must be able to verbally communicate instructions or other information as required approximately 80-90% of workday.
Must have adequate visual abilities to prepare, inspect documents or operate office machinery approximately 100% of workday.
Must be able to exert physical strength and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and/or frequently up to 15 pounds.
Must be able to hear average or normal tone conversations and understand/interpret noises or spoken information.
Must be able to bend, turn/twist, kneel, squat 30-40% of each workday.
