Position Overview

The AMS Knowledgebase, deemed the single source of truth, is an accurate and reliable resource for all Aveanna Medical  Solutions team members to quickly reference the information they need to perform their role. The Knowledgebase Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, relevance, and usefulness of the AMS Knowledgebase at all times. The Knowledgebase Specialist will play a vital role in delivering our organization’s shared knowledge by developing clear, engaging and useful knowledge articles.   

The Knowledgebase Specialist will work from technical documentation, product information, training materials, discussions with subject matter experts, and other sources to identify essential information, develop the proper presentation of that information, and write the content. The Knowledgebase Specialist will, in collaboration with our Knowledge Management Team, corporate partners and/or vendors, ensure that the AMS Knowledgebase site remains fully operational and aligned with current business needs and internal marketing standards.  

The starting pay for our Knowledge Leader is $50,000 per year. Essential Job Function

  • Ensure accuracy, relevance, and usefulness of the AMS Knowledgebase at all times.   
  • Serve as the AMS Knowledgebase subject matter expert and the primary resource for any Knowledgebase related questions.  
  • Manage all Knowledgebase requests, suggestions, and updates, utilizing project management skills.  
  • Carry out the approval process required prior to publishing content on the AMS Knowledgebase.   
  • Ensure all content follows a unified format and language that aligns with our internal marketing standards.   
  • Identify new content needs based on policy, procedure, and process changes as well as current business needs.  
  • Create eLearning content related to processes, payor knowledge and standards in the AMS Knowledgebase. 
  • Facilitate virtual training on AMS Knowledgebase navigation and article content. 
  • Maintain content by removing deprecated content, revising outdated articles and identifying missing content.  
  • Track and report on data related to the AMS Knowledgebase content to make data driven decisions on topics.  
  • Recognize trends and react to internal feedback to adjust development methods to develop new content strategies and better serve the needs of the organization and our team members.  
  • Help to drive adoption of the AMS Knowledgebase by measuring and acting on ratings and usage trends.  
  • Be a vocal advocate for improving our team member’s experiences.  
  • Work in a fast-paced environment where requirements and priorities may change.  
  • Participate in department meetings and advocate for the use of the AMS knowledgebase when appropriate   
  • Support the Aveanna mission and culture by demonstrating our core values; compassion, team integrity, accountability, trust, Inclusion, compliance and fun.  
  • Adhere to the Aveanna Compliance Program, including following all regulatory, Aveanna and accrediting agency policy requirements.  
  • Maintain the skills and qualifications necessary to provide or support quality care, including attendance at company-wide educational programs.   
  • Responsible for submitting accurate time and attendance records and following proper procedures for reporting and making corrections to attendance records.    
  • Responsible for harmonious interactions with coworkers and customers, including patients, medical office staff, vendors and the general public.

Requirements
• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Instructional Design or related field.
• Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Learning & Development, Communications or related field
• Minimum Experience: 2 years in corporate training or onboarding, 2+ years’ content writing and 1+ content development  
• Preferred Experience: 3-5 years’ corporate Learning and Development, 3+ years’ content writing and content development in the healthcare industry

• Proficient in Microsoft suite of products including Outlook, Word and Excel.
