Position Details

The Client Relations Director is responsible for driving strategic sales efforts and expanding Bala Personal Care/Non-Medical services to adult hospital accounts across the greater Philadelphia area. The primary focus is to break into adult hospital accounts, grow high-margin opportunities through private pay and workers’ compensation referrals, and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals. This role plays an integral part in expanding Bala’s adult care services, driving revenue growth, and ensuring profitability in key territories.

Essential Job Functions
• Build and expand relationships with adult hospital accounts and other healthcare providers to increase market penetration and achieve revenue targets for personal care/non-medical services.
• Identify and develop strategic referral partnerships with key sales targets including:
o Hospital physicians
o Discharge planners and social workers
o Case managers
o Workers’ compensation and private pay referral sources
• Leverage existing networks and build new partnerships to expand high-margin business opportunities through private pay and workers’ compensation referrals.
• Conduct in-services and educational presentations to hospital staff, physicians, and community members about the full menu of Bala Personal Care services.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conventions, and local events to enhance visibility and brand awareness in the adult hospital market.
• Develop and execute strategic sales and market development plans aligned with company objectives to drive growth in the greater Philadelphia area.
• Provide regular updates and feedback to corporate management regarding sales activity, market development success, and ongoing strategies for growth.
• Maintain a professional and respectful presence within the healthcare community, ensuring alignment with the patient care process.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Proven experience in healthcare sales, with a focus on developing hospital accounts and expanding private pay/wellness services.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong communication and networking skills, with the ability to build trust with healthcare professionals and referral sources.

Physical Requirements
• Must be able to travel to various accounts and client sites; company does not provide vehicles or transportation.
• Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of 25 pounds.
• Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and other physical activities as required.

Environment
• Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments, including hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
• Possible exposure to allergens, blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
