We are currently seeking a Clinical Director who will provide overall management and supervision of client care activities within the home care setting. Work in conjunction with other team members to ensure appropriate level of staffing and coordination of care in order to meet client goals. This position requires an ability to be flexible and work with all members of the health care team and provide ongoing supervision, clinical education, support, and evaluation to the nursing staff. This role will support the Area Clinical Director in oversight of the location which may include communication of updated policies and procedures case load assignment and additional clinical needs.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job involves coordinating and overseeing patient care for assigned clients, ensuring communication with families and physicians, and providing direct care as needed. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining budget awareness and supporting quality assurance activities.
  • Participating in after-hours client care, supporting hiring and training of registry nurses, and assisting with marketing efforts.
  • Ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and nursing standards, and making ethical decisions in care delivery.
  • Conducting training, orientation, and evaluations of clinical staff, and contributing to professional development.
  • Collaborating with RN supervisors and clinical staff to maintain high standards and improve patient outcomes.
  • Monitoring patient care for quality and appropriateness, including ensuring necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Supervising and assessing clients, families, and caregivers through site visits.
  • Developing and managing goal-directed care plans from admission to discharge.

The role requires leadership, clinical expertise, and the ability to manage staff and patient care, ensuring safe and effective nursing practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • RN licensure in designated states as appropriate 
  • Valid Driver’s license and Acceptable MVR.  
  • Supervising Experience: 1 year (Preferred) 
  • Leadership Experience: 1 year (Preferred) 
  • Home Health Experience (Preferred)
  • Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English 
  • Must be able to travel; company does not provide vehicles or transportation 
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of 25 pounds
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds 
  • Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions
