Position Details
- Compensation: $18-22 hourly + quarterly bonuses.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours; full-time
- Location: Remote
Essential Job Functions
- Manage the patient insurance authorization process required for services requested by clinical staff.
- Communicate with insurance carriers to initiate and track pre-certification/authorization requests.
- Proactively ensure all necessary documentation is submitted for payment timely.
- Advise clinical teams on changes in reimbursement practices and authorization processes.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clinical staff regarding updates on insurance authorization outcomes.
- Educate and counsel patients on insurance coverage and available payment options.
- Alert location management to any issues that may result in lapses in authorization.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferences
- Bilingual: Spanish-speaking is a plus.

- Office-based role during agency operating hours.
- May involve exposure to allergens or varying environmental conditions.
