Position Details
Position Overview
The SDP Support Coordinator is the primary point of contact for Aveanna participants, external staff support, independent facilitators, and Regional Center staff. The SDP Support Coordinator is responsible for delivering excellent customer service to participants and their support system via phone, virtually and in person.
Essential Job Functions
Adhere to Aveanna Core Values
Answer and transfer high volume of calls on multi-line phone system
Assist with general office correspondence and answer all direct correspondence.
Follow up with regional centers, clients, families, and service/care providers as needed to execute duties
Research and resolve issues/inquiries raised by participants and providers
Ability to de-escalate difficult situations and problem solve
Assists clients in-person, virtually and via phone with questions, inquiries, and paperwork
Support participants with program navigation and direct their inquiries to the right team if necessary
Comprehension of service codes and service regulations.
Prioritize tasks from supervisors and managers
Effectively communicate with all levels within the organization
Read and interpret client spending plan
Review spending plans due to changes or modifications.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed
Requirements
Care about the developmentally disabled population
Some college or bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred
Minimum one year of customer service experience within the last four years
Excellent interpersonal skills; self-driven, motivated, and results oriented
Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and ability to learn Aveanna’s proprietary software
Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously; strong organizational skills
Thrive in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual in Spanish, Vietnamese, or Chinese preferred

Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions
