Position Overview
The Team Coordinator plays a key role in assisting in the day-to-day tasks of the office which supports both the clinical operations staff and management.  The position is primarily responsible for staffing and scheduling clinicians to meet patient needs and provides valuable insight to leadership in the performance management of field clinicians.

This position is an in office role Monday - Friday.

Essential Job Functions

  • Greets and assists clients, employees, and the general public when entering the office providing excellent customer service
  • Manages and maintains staffing schedules according to client needs and location guidelines
  • Coordinates orientation and training for new hires and active employees
  • Fill open schedules due to staffing shortages or absences using sound decision making principles
  • Serve as primary point of contact with clients and their families regarding scheduling or staffing questions
  • Maintains a current awareness of the skills and abilities or limitations of clinicians to ensure appropriate scheduling assignments
  • Uses sound principles in issues of cost containment when scheduling clinicians
  • Participates in location recruitment activities
  • Enters all scheduling information into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to provide visibility across the team in “real time” or as soon as practical
  • Photocopy, fax, route, scan, or email information as needed or requested
  • Maintains department logs/tracking systems as requested

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and TEAMS
  • Ability to work after hours, on-call schedul

Preferences

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Prior health care scheduling or staffing experience desired
  • One (1) year previous office work experience preferred
  • Healthcare experience a plus
  • Bilingual experience
