PRN / Part-Time | Pediatric Day Health Care Center

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide professional, goal-oriented therapy services to our pediatric clients in a clinic-based setting.

Our Pediatric Day Health Care Centers (PDHC) are bright, cheerful spaces designed especially for children with complex medical needs. We provide a safe, nurturing environment where kids up to age eight receive skilled care and therapies — all while playing, learning, and interacting with their peers.

Status: PRN / Part-Time
🕒 Schedule: Monday – Friday, Daytime Only
🌞 *No nights. No weekends. No holidays!

🩺 What You’ll Do

As a key member of our clinical team, you’ll play an essential role in helping children develop communication, language, and swallowing skills.

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to pediatric clients in alignment with individualized goals.

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine treatment needs and progress.

  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that inspire growth and confidence.

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, including nurses, therapists, and families.

  • Document sessions, goals, and outcomes accurately and timely.

  • Promote a fun, supportive, and positive therapy experience for every child.


🎓 Qualifications

  • Meets qualifications as established by ASHA or equivalent professional organization.

  • Licensed to practice Speech Therapy in the state of Florida.

  • Meets educational and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech pathology or audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association — or currently completing supervised experience toward certification.

  • Valid, unexpired Driver’s License.

  • Pediatric rehabilitative experience preferred, but not required — we’ll help you grow!
