Full-Time | 36+ Hours per Week | Pediatric Day Health Center

As a Facility RN, you are the clinical leader in the center. You’ll oversee quality patient care, guide LPNs and support staff, educate families, and ensure every child receives safe, individualized, compassionate nursing care.

🩺 What You’ll Do

✔️ Perform admission assessments and develop individualized care plans
✔️ Monitor, assess, and document patient progress
✔️ Implement physician orders and communicate care updates
✔️ Supervise LPNs and unlicensed personnel
✔️ Coordinate interdisciplinary care for medically complex children
✔️ Provide education, counseling, and support to families
✔️ Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and trainings
✔️ Assist with orientation of new team members
✔️ Respond confidently to pediatric emergencies

You’ll play a key role in ensuring children receive high-quality, coordinated care — while supporting families as they navigate complex medical needs.


👩‍⚕️ Clinical Skills Needed

Experience and confidence with:

  • Home ventilators

  • Trachs and trach care

  • Suctioning

  • G-tubes, NG tubes, J-tubes

  • IV starts and medication administration

  • Oxygen and aerosol treatments

  • Intermittent/continuous feedings

  • Pediatric emergency response


🎯 What We’re Looking For

  • Active RN license in the state of employment

  • No disciplinary board action

  • Current BLS Certification

  • Negative TB test/X-ray

  • Clear criminal background check

  • Strong knowledge of medically complex pediatric care

This is an active, hands-on role. You’ll:

  • Frequently lift and assist children

  • Bend, kneel, squat, and move throughout the day

  • Monitor medical equipment and alarms

  • Respond quickly to emergencies

  • Work in an environment where exposure to allergens or bodily fluids may occur
