Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Dual Role Bus/Van Driver & Clinical Assistant to join our Pediatric Day Healthcare Center team. This position combines safe transportation of children and nursing staff with hands-on support to the clinical team inside the center. You will play an important role in helping create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for medically fragile children.

⏰ Schedule

Monday – Friday
6:00 AM – 5:30 PM

✔ No nights
✔ No weekends
✔ No holidays

🧸 What You'll Do

• Safely transport children (ages birth–8) and nursing staff to and from the Pediatric Day Healthcare Center
• Support the clinical team as a Clinical Assistant during center hours
• Assist with basic patient support and center activities
• Perform vehicle safety and maintenance checks
• Help create a positive and safe environment for children
• Work closely with nurses and staff as part of a multidisciplinary care team

✅ Qualifications

• Valid Florida Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children required (childcare, daycare, school, pediatric, or similar setting)
• Experience with transportation or delivery preferred (not required)
• CPR Certification (Healthcare Provider) – can be obtained during orientation
• Passion for working with children
