Position Details

Distribution Supervisor

As a Distribution Supervisor, you’ll play a critical leadership role in overseeing our warehouse and delivery operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate distribution of medical supplies and durable medical equipment (DME). You’ll be responsible for guiding a team of Delivery Technicians while maintaining smooth day-to-day operations across inventory, shipping, receiving, and logistics.

This role is essential to supporting patient care by ensuring the right equipment and supplies are delivered accurately and on time. You’ll also serve as a key partner in maintaining compliance, improving processes, and fostering a strong, accountable team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations, including inventory management, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Warehouse Associates and Delivery Technicians
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, logs, and reporting systems
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and safety protocols
  • Manage and maintain fleet and vehicle records, including maintenance tracking
  • Develop team goals, conduct performance evaluations, and support employee development and training
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Support company initiatives and uphold organizational mission, values, and compliance standards

Position Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience supervising distribution, warehouse, or supply chain teams
  • Experience in healthcare or DME industry preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Combination of warehouse and office environment
  • May require standing, walking, lifting, and handling materials
  • Exposure to moderate noise levels and typical warehouse conditions
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and operate standard warehouse equipment as needed
