As a Distribution Supervisor here at Aveanna, you'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our Distribution team to ensure the accurate, timely, and efficient movement of medical supplies and durable medical equipment (DME).
In this role, you'll oversee inventory management, shipping, receiving, fleet coordination, and team performance while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

A Day in the Life:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Warehouse Associates and Delivery Technicians to ensure efficient distribution operations
- Oversee inventory management, receiving, shipping, ordering, and stock control for medical supplies and durable medical equipment
- Develop team goals, provide coaching, conduct performance evaluations, and support employee development
- Monitor inventory accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain inventory integrity
- Maintain fleet maintenance records and ensure proper documentation for company vehicles
- Review operational records and documentation for compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards
Position Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience leading or managing distribution, warehouse, or supply chain teams
- Experience in supply chain management, warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics
- Valid Class D (or greater) Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Preferred)
- Previous experience in healthcare, durable medical equipment (DME), or medical supply distribution (Preferred)

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and twisting
- Ability to sit, climb stairs, and operate warehouse equipment as needed
- Must possess visual and hearing acuity sufficient to safely perform essential job functions
Work Environment:
Must be able to function in a variety of warehouse, office, and homecare-related environments that may involve exposure to varying temperatures, allergens, and other environmental conditions.
