Aveanna Healthcare is looking for an experienced, organized, and people-focused Operations Manager to join our team in Winter Park, FL.

Position Overview

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the location while partnering closely with the Executive Director and other key departments.

This role plays an important part in ensuring operational processes run efficiently and align with organizational goals. Responsibilities include supporting payroll, scheduling, billing and accounts receivable processes, authorizations, caregiver onboarding and credentialing, compliance, and team performance.

The Operations Manager will also provide leadership and direction to Client Experience Managers (CEMs) and Client Experience Coordinators (CECs) while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with the Executive Director to oversee accurate and timely processing of field employee payroll in accordance with Aveanna policies and procedures.

  • Oversee pending and unbilled reporting and provide guidance to ensure appropriate processes are followed.

  • Collaborate with the Authorizations team and responsible parties to complete monthly insurance verifications.

  • Support timely communication regarding payor and benefit-related changes alongside Authorization and Billing personnel.

  • Partner with billing personnel to monitor Accounts Receivable, identify collection concerns, and develop plans for correction.

  • Support caregiver compliance, onboarding, credentialing, and billing functions.

  • Lead and support location team members by setting clear expectations, providing routine feedback, and assessing employee performance.

  • Assist with investigating and resolving patient and family concerns, including scheduling conflicts and other service-related issues.

  • Maintain patient and employee confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

  • Consistently demonstrate organization, accountability, and a disciplined approach to completing work assignments.

  • Train and provide ongoing guidance to Client Experience Managers and Coordinators.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • At least one (1) year of supervisory experience

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations

  • Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of compliance requirements and regulations

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree

  • Two (2) years of experience as a Client Experience Manager, with demonstrated success managing scheduling, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency

  • Previous healthcare, home health, staffing, scheduling, or similar operational experience

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.

  • Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and twisting.

  • Must be able to climb stairs.

  • Must be able to sit for documentation and other job responsibilities.

  • Must have sufficient visual and hearing acuity.

  • Must be able to appropriately respond physically and mentally to emergency situations.

  • Occasional rapid movement and physical agility may be required in response to patient needs.

Work Environment

Must be able to function in a variety of environments that may involve exposure to allergens and other conditions. Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
